Ingredients

1 orange

180 ml (3/4 cup) 35% whipping cream

15 ml (1 tbsp) sugar

875 ml (3 1/2 cups) 2% milk

20 ml (4 tsp) Les Siffleux instant BLUES maca and ginger mix

200 g (about 1/2 lb) chopped semi-sweet chocolate

1 bar of coffee-flavored chocolate (Coffee Crisp type) of 50 g, coarsely crushed

Preparation

Take the zest from the orange, then cut it in half. Squeeze the orange halves over a bowl to collect the juice. Reserve half of the juice in the fridge for later use.

In another bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Whisk in the sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently incorporate half of the orange zest by folding the mixture using a spatula. Reserve in a cool place.

In a saucepan, heat the milk until it begins to simmer. Add the instant mixture and stir.

In a large bowl, place the chopped chocolate. Pour the hot milk mixture over the chocolate. Leave to rest for 5 minutes. Stir until smooth. Stir in the orange juice.

Pour hot chocolate into mugs. Garnish with whipped cream, remaining orange zest and chocolate bar pieces.
